Mr. Comero - The Music Man Teaching music, sharing laughter, and putting instruments into students’ hands. Cooperation between all of us is a key factor!

K–12 music educator providing personally owned instruments for students to borrow at no charge. It is our mission to stimulate every student to think positively, to work as a team, to believe in themselves, and to empower each student to reach their full potential. We will encourage and inspire students to be creative, responsible, compassionate, and respectful to themselves and others. It is up to every one of us to maintain and build on our attitude together.
“Individual commitment to a group effort; that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” --Vince Lombardi
The success of music in Independence relies very much on our ability to work together as a team. And so, let me congratulate you on your excellent choice of participating in the Independence Music Program! The gift of music is priceless in student’s lives.

Music Man Finds

Some people go thrifting for clothes. The Music Man comes home with an oboe! 😂🎶

Found this gem at a thrift store last week! Finding instruments for students to borrow at no charge has turned garage sales and thrift-store stops into musical treasure hunts. You never know what might be waiting on the next shelf!

One person’s donation could be another student’s first note. 💜

After learning their first three notes and first songs, our young musicians are ready to share their progress at home. A few minutes of practice and plenty of encouragement go a long way. 🎺👏
