CAPACares CAPACares provides services in three key areas: Counseling, Family Support Services, and Community Education.

Through CAPACares' comprehensive programs, we aim to promote healing from traumatic experiences, strengthen families, and create a safer Kansas City community for all. CAPACares provides individual and family counseling for adults and children who have experienced trauma. CAPACares' Healthy Families Jackson County (TM) program provides home visiting and family support services for pregnant moms an

d new parents with children up to age 3. CAPACares also provides educational services, including Parenting Education classes, Mandated Reporter Training, and community-based Prevention Education Outreach.
