Earlier today, one of our valued members of 7th Ward Marshal, Pat Farris’ staff helped identify a missing teen. Deputy Marshal Ervin Reid recognized the individual, who was reported missing to authorities more than a week ago. Deputy Marshal Reid spoke to the young person, offered the individual a respite from the heat in our offices and was able to coax the teen to stay and be checked by health officials. The Marshal’s Office notified TPSO, and the case was turned over to juvenile detectives. Marshal Farris said Reid’s attentiveness provided a critical break in this case. “His kindness was a spark to help reunite this young person with loved ones.” Thank you, Deputy Marshal Reid.
