Located at the end of a dead-end street with a large fenced-in backyard. During the school year, we have bus transportation to IES & Talmadge. My husband and I are both state-approved, and we do not hire outside help. We are the only ones watching your child(ren) if your child(ren) comes to our daycare. We schedule all of the year's days off in January each year. We also participate in Nutrition First (USDA food program), CPR, and first aid, and hold current food handler certifications. Get to know your daycare ❤️
Hi! I'm Jessi and I started Jessi's daycare 10 years ago (Oct 2012) because I wanted to stay home with my kids. I wanted to know they would be safe, happy & healthy. I've worked extremely hard to make sure the kids I watch get that same benefit. I can help but be attached and invested in each child that enters my home. Jessi's daycare started in a small apartment and quickly moved to a rental home in Dallas. This year we purchased a home in Independence where we will be permanently located.
My husband begin working with me in June of 2018 which has been an amazing blessing not only having an extra set of eyes and ears but knowing I no longer have to close for doctors or dentist appointments and when necessary I can pick kids up from school (like when there is an injury or a child misses the bus). In addition we have 3 children living at home; Payton 12, Gabe 10 & Phoenix 7. Payton is participating in cheer and loves gymnastics. Gabe is a sensitive 5th grader who lives cats, sports, & video games. Phoenix loves kids of all ages! Harry potter and school. All 3 have grown up in our daycare and are happy to get to know and spend time with your children.
In June 2022 we relocated to Independence from Dallas. Although it was sad to leave many school aged children behind our new home has a fully fenced yard, is at the end of a dead end street and is 2 stories so our children now have space to separate themselves from the daycare. For us these (along with 3 bathrooms instead of 1) are huge improvements and make the safety and care for your children easier and more enjoyable.

What makes Jessi's Daycare different?
As an in home daycare we don't have employees or visitors who have access to your children. You will always know its Jessi, Jason or both who are with your children. Both have had full background checks, CPR. First aid, food handlers training in addition to a minimum of 20 hours a year of on going training. With two of us means we can take our own children to doctors, dentist or other appointments without having to close. We set our entire years days off in January every year so you know welll in advance when we will be closed. We work with toddlers on potty training and preschoolers with letters, numbers, shapes, sounds,& counting. We spend at least an hour a day (or more) outside as weather permits. We are happy to send text updates and answer questions throughout the day as time allows. At Jessi's daycare your kids aren't just a paycheck they are family. If they are going to spend 8+ hours a day here they need to know they are loved and cared for ❤️. In addition we are a part of the nutrition First (usda food ) program making sure all meals and snacks are nutritious and provided.
