It is almost time! ONE WEEK from TODAY the Annual Basement Sale opens at IFUMC! If you have treasures to donate, you still have time to drop off. Last day to drop off is tomorrow 9 am - 2 pm.

We had so much fun at Hillcrest Transitional Housing this morning! Thank you so much to all who painted a one bedroom apartment, a two bedroom apartment, built a new picnic table, cooked breakfast food and brought things for breakfast with the residents. There were 21 of us who all made an impact at the apartments housing young adults and their kiddos. One of the kids helping paint said, “I didn’t think I would like this, but this is fun!” If you are looking for opportunities to serve our neighbors talk with Pastor Angie!

Thanks to Thomas Trasher who put time and effort into this endeavor! And thank you to First Presbyterian Church of Independence for partnering with us as we strive to help the Red Cross’ mission to save lives!

Celebrating the last day of school for Starshine Preschool at Independence First United Methodist Church with grilled hot dogs. This table convinced Jack to sit down with him, and then he expertly guided the conversation to shoes that light up getting a variety of responses. Wishing everyone a lovely summer, and the reminder that Starshine Preschool is registering for the fall!
