Please drive with caution through the area, as crews may still be working on-site in the coming weeks to complete final touches. Starting Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the intersection of James School Rd. (CR1450) and S. Buckeye (CR4700) will be closed to allow construction crews to asphalt. We anticipate reopening the intersection once the asphalt portion of the project is complete.

***Please note that part of the intersection is currently filled with gravel, so we ask all drivers to use caution and travel safely through the area.***

Duration of Project: Estimated 100 working days
Purpose of Construction: Widening the Roadway/Ditch Improvements

Both lanes South of the railroad tracks south to CR 1450 will be closed for the duration of the project. The intersection at CR 4700 and CR 1450 will also be closed.

Where: County Road 5125, 1/2 mile North of CR 3600
North of Liberty
Anticipated Start Date: February 5, 2024
Expected Completion Date: March 29, 2024
Why: Replacement of a box culvert

During this construction, the City of Liberty will still be accessible via County Road 5100 or County Road 3420.
