Heritage Museum, Independence Our Mission: to collect and share the natural history and diverse cultural heritage of Independence. ADMISSION is FREE.

A local history museum, one block from Independence's historic downtown and Riverview Park Amphitheater, with tour bus parking available at the park near the river. Independence is on a Cycle Oregon scenic route, a Paddle Oregon river route, the Willamette Bird Watching area, Ankeny Wildlife refuge, and a short drive from dozens of wineries.
