Good Evening Everyone,

Tonight at the Independence Common Council meeting we recognized a young man who saved a life.

On May 17th at approximately 9:51AM, Nolan identified that his Uncle Bruce was having a medical emergency.

Nolan stayed calm and called 911. Nolan remained calm and provided Trempealeau County Dispatch with crucial information which ultimately lead to First Responders getting to Bruce quickly. Nolan's quick action of calling 911 and remaining calm during an extremely stressful situation without a doubt saved his Uncles life.

Well done Nolan. We are all proud of you.
