Mrs. Killian’s 7th-grade math classes transformed the classroom into a student-created Carnival Day experience! Students worked collaboratively in groups to design, build, and operate their own carnival games while applying concepts from probability, statistics, and experimental data.

Carnival Day was a fun and memorable way to end the school year while celebrating student growth, collaboration, and the idea that learning mathematics can happen through creativity, experimentation, and play. 🤓

Service work is important in Indee, and our bi-annual service days help students develop community pride and a sense of civic responsibility. Last Friday, our students participated in a variety of projects that included:
*Window decorations for the Independence Sesquicentennial
*Rock weir, shocking fish, and brush removal
*Roadside cleanup
*SsPP cemetery clean up
*Four Season and City Hall Park clean up
*Paradise Poultry clean up
We are so very proud of them and their willingness to show up and make their community shine. ✨
*Our next service day will be in early fall. Contact the school if you have projects for us. 💜

🇺🇸It was a Star Spangled afternoon in the Elementary yesterday! The students enjoyed the beautiful weather with lots of fun outdoor activities. We wrapped up the day with an America 250/Independence 150 themed assembly! We recognized our Tri 3 spotlight students and drew names for a number of prizes donated by Mr. Comero! ❤️🤍💙
