This weekend I traded the campaign trail for the bike trail, riding in Bike MS “Pedal to the Point” alongside my brother and cousin in memory of our uncle, Riley Parke. It was great to spend time with family and celebrate Riley’s legacy of service, Democratic values, and living life to the fullest. Looking forward to riding again next year! 🚲

What a beautiful day for the annual Solon Summer Festival Parade yesterday! Thank you to everyone who walked with us, and thank you to the City of Solon for having us!

It was great to see so many folks with the Solon Democratic Club and Brian Poindexter for Congress, as well! Together, we’re building a fairer, more equitable Ohio that works for everyone. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💙

Much of my inspiration in running for State Representative has come from frustration with millennials and younger generations leaving our state, not seeing Ohio as place to build their future. Turns out, NBA stars are not exempt from this line of thinking!

Thankfully, we see potential where LeBron doesn’t. Let’s talk with our neighbors about it! We can discuss the benefits of living in Northeast Ohio (despite the increasing cost of living), the need to invest resources back into our local economy, and the plan for our future.

I was grateful to attend the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party’s Annual Dinner on Sunday.

I attended this event for the first time last year. At the time, I was in the early stages of deciding whether to run for State Representative, with no idea where that decision would lead. I was a former campaign staffer, a Union Organizer, and a lifelong Ohioan who simply wanted to help get our state back on track.

This year, I attended as the Democratic nominee for State Representative in Ohio's 19th District.

As I looked around the room, I couldn't help but reflect on how fortunate I am to be part of this movement. It's an incredible honor to run alongside so many dedicated leaders—people I deeply respect and am proud to call friends.

I was especially touched to see my friend and mentor, Senate Minority Leader Nickie J. Antonio, receive the Lifetime Achievement award! I share in Councilman Brian Poindexter’s remarks about her legacy and her unmatched ability to lift up those around her. I am lucky to have seen her leadership firsthand.

At a time when circumstances can feel bleak and our democracy is on the line, it’s important to stay fierce, stay hopeful, and remain optimistic. The future is bright here in Ohio, and together, we have the opportunity to build it—right here in 2026. 106 days until Election Day! 💙💪

It was wonderful to join the Cleveland American Middle East Organization (C.A.M.E.O.) and so many members of our Arab American community at their annual picnic this past weekend!

Thank you to everyone for the warm hospitality! I applaud Pierre Bejjani for his leadership and continued dedication to Cleveland's Arab American community.

I’m grateful for the chance to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and contributions that make our community so strong.

What’s more patriotic than ice cream? Lucas had a taste for Mitchell’s, so we made a date out of it to celebrate the 4th of July! Now we’re off to walk around the neighborhood, spend time with friends, and enjoy the fireworks this evening.

On our country’s 250th birthday, we are proud to be American and to be part of the effort to move our country forward, pursuing liberty and justice for all.

Yesterday was my last day as an Administrative Organizer with SEIU District 1199. Over the last 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of representing and empowering the members of SEIU—healthcare and social service providers who care for the most vulnerable members of our community. I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

I will always champion the teamwork, collaboration, and tireless commitment to SEIU’s greater mission: improving the lives of working people and their families. The path to progress is through working people, united. Together we rise!
