ADIRONDACKERS, one of our very own, Nicholas LaScala, entered several photographs taken inside the “blue line” of the 6 million acre Adirondack State Park into the annual National Geographic Student Expedition Photo Contest. After receiving 2300 entries, National Geographic informed Nick that his photo, “Nature’s Playground,” was chosen as 1 of only 24 finalists in this competition. His photo, taken on Indian Lake, after a heavy lake-effect storm shows his brother Luke catching air off of a snow heave on the north end of the lake.
I hope that you enjoy this photo attached and ask that you go to this link: http://goo.gl/auKGGo and vote for “Nature’s Playground” in the people’s choice portion of this contest. Please share this around the Adirondack community and vote, vote, vote! You can vote once per day on however many devices you want. !!!!Make sure to vote for the green snowmobile!!!
