Aging Services, Inc. Aging Services, Inc. (ASI) is the designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Indiana County. Aging services inc.

is a vital organization comprised of a compassionate staff, dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of older adults in Indiana County. We provide opportunities to enhance senior social, physical, and mental skills utilizing our various programs.

ASI dinosaurs...I mean Care Managers...had fun handing out candy and information at the Trunk or Treat In The Park event hosted by the Armstrong Indiana Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission.
Through our Caregiver Support Program, ASI helps grandparents who are raising their grandchildren as well as sandwich caregivers- adults who are simultaneously raising children while caring for their aging parents. Dementia Friendly Indiana County is hosting a Caregiver Appreciation Event sponsored by Aging Services, Inc., Anew Home Health Agency, and PA LINK. This event is open to family caregivers in Indiana County.

The ASI Special Projects Unit held their monthly team meeting at Dexter's Cat Cafe yesterday. After our business meeting in the cafe, we spent some time in the cat room to relax and play with the cats that are available for adoption. We all connected with the friendly kitties, but surprisingly none of us adopted one (yet).
