Citizens' Ambulance Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Citizens’ Ambulance Service will provide emergency medical services.

Established in 1964, Citizens’ Ambulance Service is a nonprofit corporation that provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and non-emergency ambulance and van service to the residents of Indiana County and portions of Armstrong, Westmoreland and Clearfield counties. Our professional medical care staff is always on call -- just dial 911 and ask for Citizens'.

The summer food service program is officially in full swing! Starting today you are able to get a meal bundle for your kiddo(s). These meal bundles include 8 meals, 4 breakfast and 4 lunch. As well as a half gallon of milk. Then on Tuesday you are able to get another meal bundle.

Tuesdays & Fridays from 9pm-2pm. 💚

On April 3rd, 2026, Commodore Volunteer Fire Department, Citizens’ Ambulance Service IRPs, along with Citizens’ West Pike and Starford Stations responded to an unresponsive patient. 1 patient was flown by Life Flight and 2 others were transported to IRMC.

Last night, Citizens' Ambulance Service personnel Steve Zolocsik, Justin Smulik, Jane Thompson, Aaron Ross, Adam Lightcap, Bruce Trinko, Aviana Struzzi, Fred Catchpole and Brooke Riva were honored for their lifesaving efforts during this event. Congratulations to all for their hard work!
