Meet Marisa, our Conservation Program Specialist who focuses on Nutrient & Manure Management and permits. Marisa is constantly out and about Indiana County, conducting inspections and ensuring operations like this one are running smoothly and according to plan.

Marisa talks about some of the common issues faced by our county's farmers and how the District is helping to fund projects that not only improve ag operations but help keep our waterways clean as well.

Join us for our Summer Agricultural Career Camp β€” a one-day, hands-on experience where youth ages 13–18 will explore real agricultural careers through behind-the-scenes tours, interactive activities, and visits to farms and local businesses across Indiana County.

Whether you already love agriculture or are just curious about future career opportunities, this camp is a great way to gain experience, meet professionals, and learn more about the many paths within the ag industry!
