A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us for the ICCD Educational Bus Tour! 🚌📚

It was a wonderful opportunity to welcome our guests into our district and showcase the work happening each and every day to support our community.

During the tour, we highlighted a variety of projects and programs, including Dirt, Gravel, and Low Volume Road Projects, Agriculture Projects, Education Events, Watershed Improvements, Permitting, and the Food Insecurity Initiatives. Each stop provided an opportunity to see firsthand the partnerships, resources, and efforts that help strengthen and improve our community.

We are proud of the programs, people, and partnerships that make our district special, and we truly appreciated the opportunity to provide a closer look at all that we do and the difference we strive to make.

Thank you to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, shared in the conversation, and helped make the day such a success. We are grateful for your interest, support, and continued commitment to conservation, agriculture, education, and our community! đź’™

Continuing our series on local food systems and farms practicing sustainable agriculture, this week we're happy to highlight our friends over at Lone Oak Farm.

In this video, Aaron Simpson talks about the farm's history; the change to rotational grazing to improve herd health, the environment, and profitability; and all of the wonderful products they offer at their store in Marion Center, Pennsylvania.
