Home Repairs for Good and Marian University osteopathic students came together for a service day supporting Veteran Barry O. Day.

Director Ron Rice from the City of Indianapolis Office of Veteran Services, was on site to connect with Barry, hear his story, and provide support as volunteers worked to make a meaningful difference at his home. We’re grateful for every student, partner, and community member helping ensure our Veterans have safe, comfortable places to call home.

Meet Emily Malicoat, a proud Indianapolis native, Air Force Veteran, and dedicated advocate for Veterans and their families.

After serving as a logistics readiness specialist—including a deployment to Iraq while stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany—Emily continued supporting military programs through her work in supply chain and asset management with Boeing. Today, she serves as a Veteran Service Officer in the City of Indianapolis Mayor’s Office, bringing her experience and compassion to the Veterans she supports every day.

Emily and her husband Tim, a Marine Veteran and fellow VSO, are proud parents of six children. We’re grateful for Emily’s continued service to our community.
