A little spooky, a lot of fun, and plenty of memories made! Our Bonded Buddies enjoyed a Halloween adventure exploring the Children’s Museum’s Lights-On Haunted House and Halloween exhibits! 🕸️🍬

From festive fun to new experiences, our buddies had the opportunity to explore, connect, and enjoy the Halloween season together!

September BOND Dump 🍎🌻🎳

September was a good one! 🍂 Our BOND family spent the month picking apples at the orchard, finding the perfect sunflowers, bowling, staying active, exploring the community, and making memories along the way.

Every outing is another opportunity to build independence, strengthen social skills, try something new, and most importantly — have FUN! ❤️

You don’t have to start a fight to call out the R-word. But staying silent shouldn’t be the answer either.

People with intellectual or developmental disabilities have told us again and again about the harm this slur causes.

Our CEO Katy Neas explains why respectfully speaking up matters in her Washington Post letter to the editor. When the R-word becomes acceptable in everyday conversation, it affects how people with disabilities are treated, respected, and included.

Keep calling it out, keep reminding people why it causes harm, and keep making it clear that this word should not be normalized.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and this year’s theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent." People with disabilities bring skills, creativity, and perspective that strengthen every workplace. Yet, hiring barriers and bias still shut many out. Only about 38% of people with disabilities are employed, compared to 75% of those without disabilities. This month is a chance to raise awareness, challenge bias, and promote inclusive practices that benefit everyone.
