School may be back in session, but the learning never stopped at IND!

This summer, we welcomed more than 200 students to the airport for hands‑on experiences and partnered with amazing organizations like Catch the Stars Foundation to provide school supplies and resources for our community. Here’s to a great start to the school year!

We're back to business today but we wanted to thank the hundreds of families who came out for Public Safety Community Day! We loved meeting you and hope you enjoyed getting to know the people, vehicles, and tools working together to keep IND safe.

Any guesses on how many 🌭 were consumed?

You’ve made the journey, you’ve braved the crowds and the Concrete (Construction) Jungle, you’ve played the games, and now it’s time to head home with your haul. You’ve got one final task – navigate the airport and make it to your flight on time. Swipe for some tips, tricks, and cheat codes to help you get the most out of your experience at the Best Airport in North America.

You decide to stop by your normal watering hole before your journey home begins but you’re distracted by a hypnotic pattern. A local Bard (Betsy Becher) has casted a charm, cleverly concealing the restroom as it’s under renovation. Where to next? You notice a sign directing you to a restroom by the McDonald’s, just steps away.

Some Ticketing Hall and Baggage Claim restrooms are temporarily closed as we work to update amenities and fixtures and bring more light and room into the space. We appreciate your flexibility and can’t wait for you to see the completed renovation next year!

Every journey benefits from a guide. You stop by the Guest Services desk and are greeted by friends with high Wisdom and Intelligence. Have a question about the airport? They can answer it! Not able to reach the desk? Call 317-487-9594 anytime to speak to a real human.

If you need a burst of speed through security, IND now has CLEAR on both security checkpoints! Travelers at IND can enroll at the kiosks in the Ticketing Hall across from the Guest Services desk and can use the service immediately. Verify instantly at a CLEAR eGate and go directly to bag screening - no need to stop at a CLEAR Pod or TSA podium. CLEAR works with TSA Pre✓® at all of its locations. Using both services together allows you to Dash through security.

CLEAR lanes are available from 4:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. daily.

You’ve heard tell of a shrimp cocktail known throughout the land for being hot as a dragon’s breath. The Harry & Izzy’s on Concourse A is sending a siren call. Open 6:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., it was voted one of the best airport restaurants in the world and is an IND staple for (sinus-clearing) sustenance.

Don’t have time for a side quest? You can also get the shrimp cocktail at HC Tavern + 1933 Lounge on Concourse B.
