Caregivers provide comfort, support, and compassion every single day, often while balancing many responsibilities of their own.

If you are caring for a loved one, remember that support is available. Local Area Agencies on Aging can help connect caregivers with respite services, educational resources, and community programs designed to make caregiving a little easier.

Caregiving can take a toll over time, especially when you’re focused on meeting the needs of someone else.

Recognizing when you may need a break is an important step toward protecting your own well-being. Taking time to rest, reaching out for support, and using available resources can help you continue providing care without sacrificing your health.

You don’t have to do it all on your own.

A meal can do so much more than satisfy hunger.

We're proud to award LifeSpan Resources a $25,000 discretionary grant to support its Meals on Wheels program, helping homebound older adults in Clark and Floyd counties receive nutritious meals delivered right to their door.

For many seniors, that weekly delivery also brings something just as important: a friendly face, a wellness check, and the reassurance that someone is looking out for them. It's a service that helps older adults maintain their independence while staying connected to the community they call home.

Made possible through our Community Impact Fund, this investment will help Lifespan Resources continue serving local seniors while working to reduce the waiting list for this vital program.

One more discretionary grant announcement is coming soon. We can't wait to share the final story in this series.
