A well-deserved honor for a true champion of aging Hoosiers and individuals with disabilities.

IAAAA was proud to present State Representative Ed Clere with our inaugural Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his nearly two decades of dedicated service in the Indiana General Assembly.

Throughout his time at the Statehouse, Rep. Clere has never shied away from the difficult issues. He has consistently brought compassion, tenacity, and a willingness to dig into the complexities of Medicaid, aging, disability services, and long-term care. He has always kept the Hoosiers impacted by those decisions at the center of the conversation.

Rep. Clere has been more than an advocate for Indiana’s Area Agencies on Aging. He has been a champion, a trusted partner, and a friend to our network and the people we serve.

As he prepares for his next chapter in public service, we are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact he has made on aging and disability services across Indiana. Congratulations, Rep. Clere, and thank you for your years of leadership and service!
