This endorsement means a lot to me personally.

When Zionsville’s first school referendum failed in 2011, I volunteered to teach PE at an elementary school. PE was one of the specialty classes cut from the curriculum, and while I’m certainly not a trained educator, I relied on my mom-sense (and a lot of YouTube!) to put together classes that were fun, active, and gave kids a chance to burn off some much-needed energy.

All four of my kids graduated from public schools, so I’ve seen firsthand how much our teachers pour into their classrooms and their students. They don’t just teach our kids—they help shape their futures. More than 90% of Hoosier children attend public schools.

Our teachers deserve our support. They need advocates at the State House who will fight to properly fund public education, support educators, and make sure future generations of Hoosiers have the same opportunities our kids have had.

I’m incredibly grateful to the ISTA and teachers across this district for their support. If given the opportunity in November, I will be a strong advocate for our public schools and our amazing teachers at the State House.

Our teachers have spent their careers investing in our kids.

It’s time we invest in them.
Let’s do this. 💚💙

HUGE news! I am beyond thrilled to annouce that our campaign has been endorsed by the Indiana Political Action Committee for Education and the Indiana State Teachers Association!

This is personal for me because my teachers opened up the world for me when I was still finding myself. They demonstrated the value of curiosity and hard work every single day. They taught me how to think critically and challenged me when I needed an extra push.

Now, our teachers need help. They need help keeping our schools properly funded so future generations of Hoosiers can benefit from the same opportunities I had. I'm so grateful to ISTA and our local teachers for their support, and I will do everything in my power to be the advocate they deserve in the Statehouse.

Our teachers have spent their careers investing in our kids. It's time we invest in them. Let's get to work.

"A top Republican state election official and former Secretary of State Connie Lawson are raising alarms about Secretary of State Diego Morales' "pattern of negligence" while administering the state's elections and blasted him for placing the public's trust 'in jeopardy'."

A top Republican state election official is endorsing Morales' GOP opponent in a scathing new letter sent to local election officials.
