Off Beat, On the Trail The Fountain Fletcher District is shaped by our people and their personalities.

Those with a do it-yourself, anything goes attitude that defines this District like the generations of pioneers, immigrants, and makers who came before us. It’s in our DNA to put our unique, homegrown stamp on everything we do. Our eclectic mix of local businesses and venues is just minutes from Indy and surrounded by historic neighborhoods—from Fountain Square to North Square, from Fletcher Place to Holy Rosary. Connected by the Cultural Trail, we are a destination for one-of-a-kind food, music, and urban activity. Together, we are the Fountain Fletcher District, offbeat on the trail.

Located in the basement of the Fountain Square Theatre building, this week’s Merchant Monday feature is Atomic Bowl Duckpin! 🎳

Depending on the night, Atomic Bowl has a little bit of everything, from live local shows and Two Step Tuesdays line dancing (the first Tuesday of every month) to regular nights of bowling, and even live shows happening alongside bowling. Whether you’re there to hit the lanes, catch some live music, or experience a little bit of both, Atomic Bowl offers a little something for everyone. DOGS IN THE DISTRICT 🐶

Thank you to everyone who sent photos of their pups! We enjoyed seeing how they are enjoying the district as much as the folks who they live with.

We had seven entries, picked a winner with a randomizer, and our lucky seventh (& final entry) was selected for a City Dogs Grocery giftcard!

ICYMI, Hoosier Dome is being forced to close at the end of 2026. They just announced one of their first farewell shows on December 13th. This is the first of many different Farewell Fest shows, all leading up to the final weekend on December 18th, 19th, and 20th. This week’s Merchant Monday features one of the newest additions to the district - Vanity Tattoo ✨

Located in the lofts above City Dog Grocery on Virginia Ave, Vanity Tattoo specializes in medical and cosmetic tattooing, with a special focus on helping women feel restored and confident after breast cancer treatment through realistic 3D ar**la tattooing and scar rejuvenation. Vanity Tattoo works with Hendricks Regional Health as their plastic surgery medical tattoo provider and partners with Pink Ribbon Connection to connect breast cancer survivors with restorative tattoo services. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re excited to highlight service that’s offered right here in the Fountain / Fletcher District 🩷

This week’s Merchant Monday features one of the newest additions to the district - Lille Bønne Community Living Room! ☕🍷📚

Lille Bønne is a community living room – a place to connect with neighbors and friends over food, art, music, and movement in a sacred and historic space. They have a regular lineup of classes and events for all ages, and a monthly Sunday Supper is a unique opportunity to share a table and a meal in community. Lille Bønne hosts First Friday art shows, including this week (Friday, October 2) a new work by Amy McAdams-Gonzales (Amy McG). Amy also created the logo and branding for Lille Bønne, so if you like what you’re seeing, don’t miss it!
