Calling all young racers! Kids across the AES Indiana service territory are invited to enter the AES Indiana Pit Crew Kid Challenge.

Here's how to enter: Build a race car using toys or household items, snap a photo, and tell us about your at-home pit crew. Email the photo and description to [email protected] by Sunday, May 10.

Thanks to our partnership with Ed Carpenter Racing, the winner will receive an unforgettable behind‑the‑scenes racing experience, including a meet‑and‑greet with Ed Carpenter, official ECR racing jerseys, and Turn 2 suite access for four on Race Ready Monday, May 18.

⚡ 10:30 PM Update: Restoration Complete

Power has now been restored to all customers impacted by yesterday's severe weather, which affected nearly 13,000 customers across our service territory.

AES Indiana officials have confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in the Mooresville area, contributing to the extensive damage and outages experienced.

Thank you to our customers for your patience, and thank you to the crews who worked around the clock to restore power safely and as quickly as possible.

⚡10:15 AM Update: Following a second wave of overnight storms, our crews continue making steady progress restoring power. Approximately 2,400 customers remain without power across our service territory, down significantly from a peak of about 7,500 outages late last night.

Crews worked safely through the night and are back at it today addressing remaining outages.

We appreciate our customers’ patience and want to thank our crews for their long hours and commitment to safety as restoration continues.

🚨 Safety reminder: Stay away from downed power lines, assume they’re energized, and report hazards online at aesindiana.com/outages or by calling 317-261-8111.
