FACT: Foster parents are an essential part of a child's team—and in Indiana, they have rights that are protected by law.

That includes the right to:
✔️ Be treated with dignity and respect.
✔️ Receive important information about the child in your care.
✔️ Participate in case planning and court proceedings when appropriate.
✔️ Be heard when decisions affect the child placed in your home.
✔️ Receive the training and support needed to care for children well.
