🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: OVERNIGHT RAMP CLOSURES 🚨

Drivers traveling on the south side of Indianapolis should plan ahead for overnight ramp closures on I-65 this week.

The I-65 northbound ramp to I-465 westbound will be closed for guardrail repairs:

📅 Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26
⏰ 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night

During the closures, drivers should follow the official detour by taking I-465 eastbound, turning around at the Emerson Avenue interchange and continuing onto I-465 westbound.

Allow extra travel time, slow down, avoid distractions and use caution when traveling near the work zone. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.

The 93rd Annual IMTA Convention will bring Indiana’s trucking community together at the Seelbach Hilton from September 29 through October 1.

This year’s program will explore federal regulation, transportation research, freight forecasting, insurance, workforce development, emerging technology and the future of trucking. Beyond the speaker sessions, attendees will have opportunities to connect during receptions, enjoy group activities and spend time exploring Louisville with fellow members.

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. 36 PHASE 3 CONSTRUCTION 🚨

The Modern Rockville project is expected to enter Phase 3 on or after Thursday, August 27.

📍 U.S. 36 (Rockville Road) between Raceway Road and Girl School Road

Drivers should expect:

⚠️ Left lane closures in both directions
⚠️ Overnight alternating lane closures beginning Wednesday, August 26, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
⚠️ The new traffic pattern to remain in place for approximately three weeks, weather permitting

Once the traffic shift is complete, eastbound traffic will travel on new pavement.

Please slow down, avoid distractions and use extra caution in the work zone.
