Financial Assistance Survey
Good evening, the Town Council has been working to secure funding to help residents cover some costs incurred by individual households during the August flood. These may include home repair costs as well as non-repair costs (e.g., hotel stay during evacuations, lost wages, etc.) To this end, we are collecting data to estimate residents' current flood-related financial needs. Please, fill out this survey at your earliest convenience:

This is a warning to all pet owners in Rocky Ripple and others that walk their dogs in the woods behind the West Campus in Butler or have cats that wander this area.
Yesterday a dog died after ingesting what appears to be a mix of canned chicken mixed with antifreeze that was in the woods.
This incident has been reported to Butler.
We do not know how many more of these bait traps may be out there, if any. But please be very careful if visit the woods or the trails along the river.
Added a picture of where the dog found the poison.
If you see anything suspicious, please contact DNR dispatch (812-837-9536) or the IMPD non-emergency hotline if DNR is unavailable. Additional BU and DNR patrols have been dispatched to monitor the area.

We discussed many important issues that affect the whole town.

We would also like to thank all of the members in the community that stepped forward with interest in joining the town council. We had 10 community members step up and asked to be considered. It was a very difficult decision for us to make. Next year is an election year for the council and we encourage those people and others to put their names in for the elections.

First of all, we want to thank all the volunteers that manned the table at Rockin' River Relief yesterday. Special thanks to American Legion Post #34, Indianapolis IN for hosting this event. And a huge thanks to Greg Ziesemer and Jan Frazier for coordinating this whole event. We are so very grateful to everyone that came out and made donations. Through cash donations and our GoFundMe, https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-rocky-ripple-recover, we raised about $4000 to put toward levee repairs.

Good snowy morning everyone!
Wanted to give everyone an update on road conditions.
Ely is out working to clear the roads. We have had 7 1/2 inches so far with maybe another 4" coming. With the snow coming down as fast as it is, many of the roads that have already been plowed already have a few inches on them. We took a short trip out of the nieghborhood this morning at 8 AM in a 4 wheel drive and only made it about 1/2 mile before turning around.
If you absolutely must get out, please wait until your road is plowed at least once and take the shortest route to 52nd or 53rd street. To see what roads have been plowed outside the neighborhood and when, use the following link to see where the DPW slow plows have been.
