We are an organization of Simpson students committed to the fulfillment of physical and social needs of our local communities, enhancing our professional and personal development, and building organizational and personal relationships worldwide through service and friendship.

She will be a junior majoring in Biology. She is involved in TRIO, Student Ambassador, Pre-Health Society, Wesley Service Scholar, SAA and Kappa Kappa Gamma.

She is cannot wait to be back on campus and work with others!

Next up is Hannah Spencer, Secretary

Hannah will be going into her senior year and majoring in forensic science.

Outside of Rotaract, she is involved in WSS, Iowa History Center, and she is a CA.
She was the secretary last year so she is just excited to continue my experience with that and be able to get more people involved with Rotaract!

Our next executive highlight is Kacie Cowman, Vice-President.

Kacie will be a sophomore and is majoring in Biochemistry.

She is involved in RLC as the Catholic Student Organization Intern, WSS, Pre-Health Society, Simpson Collegiate Scholars club, and she is a part of the Culver Center.

Kacie is excited to help plan and execute Meals from the Heartland next year!

Alyssa will be a senior and she majors in computer information systems and minors in management info systems and interactive media.

On-campus, she is involved in Rotaract, WSS, and Pi Beta Phi. She is looking forward to being involved in Rotaract exec for the third year and reaching out to more people on campus in this new position!

They are a non-profit organization helping families in Des Moines and the surrounding area. A whole bunch of awesome people are making and delivering home-cooked lasagna for families who are struggling as a result of the pandemic. Hello Rotaracts!

Our last meeting will be a service opportunity for you to do on your own instead of in-person due to Covid precautions!

Here's how:

Pick up a service packet in Student Development at the front desk starting RIGHT NOW! This envelope contains all the materials you need to make some fun holiday ornaments. We have a limited number of packets, so be sure to grab yours soon! Student Development is open M-F 8:30-4:30.

Send a picture of you working on the ornaments to us on Facebook to be featured on our page!

Return completed ornaments to Student Development by this FRIDAY, November 20 at 4:30pm where they will be donated to decorate a senior center here in Indianola.
