This is the fire, here in Canadian Shores, that the family of seven were able to escape from.

Re*****on Dedmon, 11, heard the fire and woke his parents, getting all five siblings out safely before the home was destroyed.

8/19/26 paged out at 01:18 for a multiple structure fire (mobile home & RV's) on Chinook Road in Canadian Shores. A family of seven were able to escape. We left the fire at Shady Grove which we were helping to mop up. Engine 3, Brush truck 3 with 4 personnel responded to the fire which was fully engulfed. Indianola, Sam's Point, Canadian, Crowder, Bugtussle assisted with the fire. Shady Grove was paged back out to their fire scene. 12 vehicles and 23 personnel were on scene. We provided the family with a list of places that might be of some assistance to them. We are sorry for the loss of your home. Thank you everyone for your assistance.

Paged out 22:52 to a structure fire on Shady Grove Road in Shady Grove VFD area. Engine 3 responded with 3 personnel. Also responding to assist Shady Grove were Indianola, Bugtussle, Crowder, Sam's Point & Krebs.

17:40 Paged out for a grass fire that was out on arrival. We sprayed the area to be sure it didn't rekindle.
Brush 1, Brush 3 with 5 personnel responded.
Our automatic aid Indianola & Sam's Point responded and released.
