We had a surprise congratulatory dinner for Firefighter Dean Lambert tonight. He successfully graduated from IFSI Fire Academy for Danville Fire. Congrats Dean. We are proud of you!

On 4/11/2024 Carroll Fire was dispatched as automatic mutual aid to Ridge Farm for a reported structure fire with smoke and flames showing. Upon arrival 13 Command 2 and 10 Command 4 was assigned to make entry to the rear of the structure to check for fire extension. With no fire extension to the rear the crew made their way upstairs to check above the room of origin. While searching for signs of fire a faint noise could be heard coming from a bedroom. Upon searching through heavy smoke for the source our crew discovered the family feline under a bed. The pet, suffering from smoke inhalation, was quickly removed from the structure. After showing signs of improvement the pet was returned to the family.

We will be conducting our annual hose testing tomorrow Friday 12th on Main Street on the south side of the park. Reminder this section of Main Street will be closed.
