TOMORROW! The Carlisle Police Department’s Fiss’ Tix program will be starting tomorrow, May 27th, for the summer! While out on patrol, officers will be on the lookout for kids wearing bicycle helmets, looking both ways before crossing the street, using bicycle hand signals, or just doing something "cool". If “caught” violators will get a “ticket” for a FREE ice cream cone from Fiss’!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!........ Be sure to fill out the back of the ticket with the child's name, address and phone # and at the end of the summer a winner will be drawn to receive a voucher for a new bicycle!

Again, we would like to thank Fiss’ for their generosity and continued partnership of this program!

A great start to the 2026 Iowa APCO & Iowa NENA Spring Conference!

A few of our dispatchers attended day one and had the opportunity to meet Kris Inman, author of “The Daily Dispatcher.” It was a great day of learning, networking, and sharing ideas with others in the profession.

We’re also proud to celebrate one of our own, Angie for her 20 years of service award. Thank you for your dedication to our community and to Warren County 911! 💛📞👏🏻

An initial round of storms could develop across southern Iowa early on, but the main severe threat for central Iowa comes as a cold front pushes across the state. All severe weather hazards - large hail, damaging winds, and a tornado or two are possible.
