City of Industry This page is to publicize current events and happenings in the City of Industry, Texas. Notices of the meetings of the City Council will also be posted.

Historic Industry, Texas is the First Permanent German Settlement in Texas. It was settled in April 1831 by Friedrich Ernst. Currently, the city has a population of 304 residents within city limits with many more living beyond the boundaries of "town". The City Council consists of a Mayor, Mayor Pro-tem and 4 alderman. Regular meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the City Building in the Park.

Celebration in the Park - Sunday, June 28 - It is our tradition to have a children's parade around the park, so bring your decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, etc and follow Uncle Sam around the park at 6:00pm. All participants will receive ribbons and a gift from Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Wesley Peschel and the West End Library. Just another example of the support from the community!
