Martin County Emergency Management is monitoring a storm system that could enter our area approximately 2AM tonight(3/22/26), quickly moving through the area. Major concerns with this storm are hail and the potential for damaging wind gusts. Everyone stay safe and weather aware!

If you are traveling this morning, please allow extra time to reach your destination. Some roadways and bridges may be slick due to overnight and current conditions. Slow down, increase your following distance, and be alert for changing road conditions.

Use extreme caution, especially in shaded areas, on secondary roads, and on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.

If you do not have to travel, consider delaying your trip until conditions improve. Stay safe and be prepared.

‼️Depending on what weather forecast you monitor, the storms are expected to start in our area from 2AM to 5AM and last through 7AM to 8AM. These times are approximate.
Be mindful of the weather warnings your weather outlet publishes. The rains are predicted to change to snow showers but no measurable accumulation is expected.
Be sure to charge your phones and have an alternate power and/ or heat source if the need arises.
