Over the past several days, Martin County has faced challenging conditions as multiple wildfires burned across our county. During this time, our volunteer fire departments, first responders, and community members stepped up in an incredible way.

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to every fire department, emergency responder, and individual who assisted in fighting these fires and protecting our communities. Many of you worked long hours in dangerous conditions to ensure the safety of our residents, homes, and land.

Your dedication, courage, and commitment to serving Martin County do not go unnoticed. Because of your teamwork and sacrifice, many lives and properties were protected.

Martin County is truly grateful for the bravery and selfless service shown by our firefighters and all who offered assistance during this difficult time.
