I’m so proud of Martin County….voting turnout has been amazing 💙♥️💙♥️. Thank you everyone for coming out and exercising YOUR right to VOTE

It’s hard being the County Clerk on Election Day!!! First of all, we want anyone who is eligible to vote ..to VOTE!!! If you have renewed your drivers license and they put you in at a different county and that county approves your pending voter card, we cannot allow you to vote in OUR county!!!! People get upset and I hate it but there is nothing we can do

There is NO early voting today!!

11/03/2024

First, I would like to express gratitude to EVERYONE who participated in the 3-day early voting period to cast their ballots. Over the course of these three days, we saw 978 individuals exercise their right to vote.

As I attempt to rest, I find myself reflecting on the significant impact elections have on a Clerk's Office. My staff and I have been tirelessly working on preparations for the General Election for months. My team: Kimberly Keener Duff, Alisha May Horn, Lakyn Canterbury, Angie Evans, and Jennifer Horn, have demonstrated exceptional dedication, exceeding their job requirements. Notably, Jennifer and I provided assistance to those requiring it, wheeling them in a chair!! Our schedule includes
setting up voting centers on Monday, conducting the election on Tuesday, and ensuring the state receives all necessary uploads before departing. On Wednesday, we collect machines and secure them, followed by an eye-to-hand audit on Thursday. By Friday, we will have successfully completed our responsibilities for this election. Therefore, I extend sincere appreciation to my staff for their unwavering support. Thank you for consistently being there for me.
