Conveniently located near Indiana’s capital city, the town of Ingalls offers residents and visitors the comforts of a safe, family-focused community. The new Dog Park at Interurban Park is officially open and ready for use!

Now Hiring: Street Department Laborer
The Town of Ingalls is looking for a full-time Street Department Laborer to assist with street maintenance, mowing, and snow removal. This position works under the direction of the Street Superintendent and plays a key role in maintaining our community.

Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with occasional overtime)

Benefits include:
Health, dental, and vision insurance
AD&D and short-term disability insurance
Paid holidays and PTO

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Indiana Driver’s License
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions

Unfortunately, due to low vendor response, we have decided to cancel our Spring Festival this year. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and for the necessity of this decision.

Please note that our Fall Festival is still on the calendar for September 19, 2026. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please be advised that water hydrant flushing operations in the Summerlake subdivision will begin on Monday, April 13th, and will continue until the process is complete.

During this time, you may experience temporary water discoloration. Please note that the water remains safe for use and continues to meet all EPA standards.
