The Lullabye Foundation

The Lullabye Foundation The Lullabye Foundation is a non-profit organization established to help level the playing field for kids. We come from all kinds of backgrounds. We are victors!

Our Story
Established in 2006, the Lullabye Foundation is a group of individuals who exist to create good nights and sweet dreams and sun-filled days for children and their families who are lost in the shadows of the communities where they live. Some of us are quite accomplished according to the world’s standards. Most of us are just regular people trying our best to make a few good things happen

, at home, and in nearby places. We are artists, storytellers, businessmen and women, educators, counselors, doctors, lawyers, people from every background sharing a common thread; a passion for children and families. What makes us Lullabye people? All of us, at one time or another, have lived in the shadows of our communities. All of us have been shadow people. But-- we have refused to remain victims! With help and with the help from the communities in which we live, we are victors! We live to help others come out of the shadows. Because we know it is possible. Marlie's Bill of Rights for Kids
(with a little help from Gram)

Every Kid has the Right to be loved and respected. Every Kid has the Right to be safe at home and at school. Every Kid has the Right to attend school—and to get there safely. Every Kid has the Right to a clean, healthy body. Every Kid has the Right to wear clean clothes, especially underwear and socks. Every Kid has the Right to wear clothes that fit—especially shoes. Every Kid has the Right to have enough food to eat. Every Kid has the Right to have all the school supplies he/she needs to succeed. Every Kid has the Right to have time for work and for play. Every Kid has the Right to have her/his own bed to sleep on. Every Kid has the Right to dream dreams.

So happy we can make a difference in the lives of local students! Please reach out via messenger if you'd like to build a partnership with a local organization or school!

"So far this year Lullabye Foundation funds have been used to help level the playing field for some of our students who have wanted to participate in sports or clubs and would not have otherwise been able to participate for financial reasons. This has been a great benefit to our students by providing them with an opportunity to learn the values of teamwork, discipline and responsibility through participation in those sports and clubs. We are very grateful for the Lullabye Foundation's continued generous support of our students."

Another blessing we were able to give to a student at a local organization:

"Your funding has helped to really give a family an opportunity for a better life. ###### who was homeless and living in between hotels received a partial scholarship and assistance for uniforms and books. The scholar is doing amazing! We are so blessed by this partnership...thank you!"

Just another day at the Lullabye Foundation!

It's a been a while, friends, but Lullabye has still been making a positive difference in the lives of many kids around Lake County. One way we supported leveling the playing field was helping support Mr. Filipowicz's Robotics Class at Gavin South Middle School.

"We finally got the Vex Field in for it; as it was on back order. The robotics team and I are currently working to get it set up.
Here is a pic of what we have so far!"

Can't wait to see what Mr. Filipowicz does with his Robotics Class in the near future!
