Today marks the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. In remembrance, we celebrate those who’ve passed along with those who sacrificed their lives for another. We at Young Leaders PAC vow to never forget this tragedy.

Happy Independence Day! Today, we come together to celebrate the birth of a nation and our commitment to shaping a brighter tomorrow. Here at the Young Leaders PAC, we strive to further our youths' passion for liberty, justice, and equality for all, the very values that once won us our independence and will forever continue to lead our future generations to new heights of freedom for years to come. On behalf of YLPAC, we wish you all a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!

Calling all CA students: every two years, the Commission on Selections of the Young Leaders Political Action Committee determines who will serve as Members of the Board of Governors for the next election cycle. There are three seats up for election on December 6th. If you are interested in representing your peers as a Governor, consider running for office.

Who will represent YOU? All California students ages 10-19 are able to register to vote in this upcoming General Election. The President and Assistant President of the Board of Governors will be determined with the help of your vote. The deadline to register is September 14th at 11:59pm—please share!

This administration is at your service. Remember to call or email your elected student representatives about issues that are important to you. They are here to support you in any way possible. This can include…
- Questions about reaching out to your local and state government officials
- Concerns regarding policy proposals at the state, county, city, and district levels
- Ideas for bills, laws, ordinances and resolutions to be implemented in partnership with your local representatives
- Ideas for candidates running for office near you who should be endorsed by the PAC.

Your elected student Governors can also provide more information on the work they are doing to support you on the Board of Governors. And they all welcome suggestions to improve their leadership. STAFF MEMBERS -
A Democratic Member of the Board of Governors from Manhattan Beach (LA County) is looking for high school students for their general staff, including the roles of Deputy Chief of Staff and Correspondent. Republicans, Democrats, and Independents from all regions of California are welcome to apply. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering phone calls, accompanying the Governor to events, assisting with incoming correspondence and supporting fundraising operations. Ideal candidates will be efficient, well-organized and work well in a fast-paced, team environment. The office does not discriminate on the basis of race, s*x, color, age, religion, national origin, s*xual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
