Inlet Volunteer Hose Company extends our sincere thanks to FEMA and MJ Burben INC. for securing a grant that made it possible to replace all of our 5-inch hose. This funding allowed us to upgrade hose on our trucks that had been in service for over 27 years!

At 12:17pm today Inlet Volunteer Hose Company was dispatched to a brush fire on Limekiln Lake. Firefighters were transported by boat to put out a fire on one of the lake’s islands. They were able to knock the fire down and get it contained quickly to prevent further spreading. The Hose Company was assisted on scene by Inlet Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Inlet PD and the DEC.
