The Town of Inlet Snowmobile Department has just put in place a new trail now connecting Arrowhead Park and State Route 28. This trail can now be accessed from the Woods Inn and places you across from Channel Road when coming into the parking lot. This new trail was put into place due to the fact that there has not been a way for snowmobiles to access the lot other than to operate their snowmobile on the sidewalk.

With this new trail in place, we would like to remind the public that there are no snowmobiles allowed on sidewalks and officers will be enforcing such violations.

Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe out there!

On 9/7/2025 the Inlet Police Department participated in the Adirondack Walk for Epilepsy along with the Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services personal. This event is held annually in our Town to raise awareness for Epilepsy. Participants walk from the Inlet Town Offices to Eagle Bay and back for a four-mile walk. After the walk was completed, everyone headed to Fern Park for some much-deserved food and beverages and participated in a silent auction which raised over a thousand dollars! We would like to thank everyone who generously donated to the foundation and we hope for an even bigger turnout next year!
