Why are we changing catalogs? The main reason we are switching is because it comes with an incredible cost savings. Rest assured that our team worked hard to find a solution that has limited (if any) negative impact on library users. In fact, you’re getting a number of benefits - the functionality sacrifices are all on the library side. We are joining other libraries across the state in a consortium that is in part funded by federal grants, and it’s led by knowledgable, dedicated librarians.
