Interlachen Soup Kitchen Ministries Interlachen soup kitchen was founded in 2011 by Dave and Linda Yonts. Over 3,100 FREE meals are served to the community each month.

TGIF ya'll. We are so thankful to all our volunteers and donors. Thank you Chris Walker for the pie, fruit tarts, sweet potato casserole, chicken & rice soup, chicken noodle soup, 2 potato soups, & the meso soup;, Smith Farms for the eggs, bananas, and slaw mixings;, Hitchcocks grocery stores for the weekly groceries;, Brett Cammack for the music on Wednesday, Craig Hunter for the soap & dishwasher pods, Carol Abbott for the bleach, Joan for the misc food items, Beverly for the cookies & banana bread, Mrs. Beams for the chocolate cake, Campus Cooks (UF) for the produce, Henry Kitchens for the fresh veggies, tofu, lime and lemon juice, Carol/Jaguars/OP for the prepared food, Gene for the 2 walkers, clothing, & adult diapers, Ms. Jan for the blankets, jackets, & winter clothing, Ms. Betty for the misc food items, Carol for the chicken quarters, And Pastor Wayne for the bread and pastries. Wow what a week we have had....thank you all so much. A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers; Dave & Linda Yonts, John Clipper, Elder Akerman, Elder Berning, Faye Newkirk, Charles Rich, Rocky Chilson, Edgar, Betty, & Diane. Happy Friday everyone! Thank you Smith Farms for the eggs, Brenda Kempton for the misc items, Thomas for the coffee machine, Chris Walker for the 2 soups, Mrs. Beams for the baked cake, Louissant for the pastries, Carol/OP/Jaguars for the pastries, breads, & cooked food, Bill & Cricket for the clothing, Tawana for the hygiene items, and The Interlachen Fire department Starion #17 for the sauces, beans, & chicken. We are so grateful to all of ya'll. Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. We have so many to be thankful to this week. Thank you Smith Farms for the slaw mixing, bananas, taters, & eggs., Art for the clothing, Mrs. Beams for the cookies, Deanna for the clothing, bags, baby items, sheets, blankets, & hygiene items, Pastor Wayne for the Fish, misc groceries, & cases of water, Beverly Holly for the sweet taters & taters, Chris Walker for the stuffed zucchini, minestrone soup, potato soup, & zucchini soup, Ron & Jackie for the 4 turkeys, Hitchcocks grocery stores for the weekly grocery items, UF for the cooked turkey & vegetables, Tracy ( IJSH) for the canned goods, Kurt & Amy for the food, turkey, & hygiene items, Gabriel for the taters & sweet taters, Ariel & Jan for the 2 cooked hams & turkey, Debbie Odom for the monetary donation towards our new ice maker, Ms. Dorothy for the frozen veggies, meats, veggie trays, & chicken, Debbie for the coffee cups, Carol (Cracker Barrel) for the tons of cooked meats, vegetables, desserts, bread, muffins, & bagels, and The Rotary Club of Interlachen for the turkey, cake, sides, and dinner rolls. 125 of our folks enjoyed your giving on Thursday. Again, thank you all so much.
