For Green Lake Township, the sculptures placed around the community fulfill a goal of community beautification. For artist Doug Gruizenga's daughter, it's a lasting tribute to her late father.

GLADLA and MSU will be hosting a free boat wash at the Green Lake Betsie River road boat launch Sunday from 10am - 2pm. Come join us for some fun facts and handouts about Aquatic Invasive Species, and get your boat/kayak/canoe washed to boot. And it's FREE! Even the sheriff gets the boat washed😃
