Employment Opportunity

The Southeast Kansas Library System (SEKLS) is hiring for a temporary, part-time Technical Services Assistant to process and repair library materials and provide exceptional customer service over the phone. Headquartered in Iola, SEKLS is one of seven regional library systems in Kansas that works public, academic, special, and school libraries in a 15-county area. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This 25-hr. per week position is temporary through the end of 2026, with extension possible due to an upcoming reorganization. Starting pay is $15 to $15.50. KPERS eligible and the full job description is available for review. First review of applications will be July 10, 2026. Open until filled.
