Iola Fire Department 24/7 Fire and EMS Service for the city of Iola and Allen County

The Iola Fire & EMS Department exists to protect lives, conserve property by minimizing the frequencies and effects of fire, accidents, illness, hazardous material releases, disasters and other like occurrences. The methods we use to accomplish this mission are public education, training, prevention and control. The Iola Fire & EMS Department is committed to utilize all resources, efficiency and effectiveness provided by the citizens of Iola, Kansas to accomplish the mission.

National Weather Service has Allen County in a Red Flag Warning till 8 pm tonight. With low humidity and winds 20-25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph creating Extreme Grassland Fire Danger. Burning of any kind should not occur today to include, grass, brush, outdoor fires and trash. If you burned yesterday, please ensure the fire was extinguished completely and no coals remain. Contact Allen County 911 at 365-1437 or call 911 to report a fire.
