Hey Ionia County friends in Ionia Township, Easton Township and Keene Township, I am running to be your next county commissioner.
There’s something special about Ionia County.
It’s not just where we live—it’s where we raise our families, build our livelihoods, and look out for our neighbors. It’s a place where people value hard work, common sense, and treating others with respect.
That’s why I’m announcing my candidacy for Ionia County Commissioner.
I’m running because I believe our county deserves steady, experienced leadership focused on the issues that matter most.
I’ve had the honor of serving as a County Commissioner before, where I worked on budgets, infrastructure, and making sure taxpayer dollars were used responsibly. That experience taught me something important: county government works best when it stays focused on the basics—roads, public safety, and responsible spending.
That’s the kind of leadership I will bring to Ionia County.
This campaign isn’t about politics or one single issue. It’s about making sure our county is run the right way.
My priorities are simple:
* Maintaining and improving our roads and infrastructure
* Supporting law enforcement and emergency services
* Keeping taxes under control and budgets balanced
* Protecting property rights and local decision-making
These aren’t partisan issues—they’re common-sense priorities that affect every family in our county.
I believe the people of Ionia County should have a strong voice in the decisions that affect their communities.
Too often, decisions feel driven by outside pressure or unnecessary conflict. That’s not how good government works.
Good leadership means listening, bringing people together, and making thoughtful decisions that reflect the values of the people who live here.
Because at the end of the day, this is our county—and decisions about its future should be made with that in mind.
We’ve all seen how division can hold communities back. That’s not the path forward.
I’m running to bring a steady, experienced approach that focuses on results—not controversy.
You may not always agree with me on every issue, but you will always know that I am working to do what’s best for Ionia County.
