Today the Iowa City Army Recruiting Company (5K9) conducted its Company Training at Rock Island Arsenal. Training included information on the United States Military Apprenticeship Program and United States Reserve Incentives. In addition to training, the Company conducted its ACFT, gave awards and finished out Training with a company lunch. The Cedar Rapids Recruiting Station (5K9R) was awarded the Chaos Hammer for finishing best overall for PL October. SSG Dvorak (5K9R) was awarded both the Chaos Belt and a BN Coin (presented by CSM Johnston) for enlisting three people and being the top producer for PL October. SSG Beckwith (5K9K) was awarded his First Blood Certificate and a BN Coin for enlisting his first contract. And finally SSG Fleming was awarded an AAM for enlisting four people during PL July FY22 (it took a while but we finally got it to her). Great job by all and let’s keep crushing this new Recruiting Year.

Today Iowa City Recruiting Company (5K9) executed its end of the FY22 Recruiting Year with a Bowling Organizational Day. Soldiers we’re able to spend time with each other and have a well deserved day off from the office. SSG Addis from Cedar Rapids Recruiting Station (5K9R) was given his certificate for earning his Recruiting Gold Badge and SSG Sanchez was awarded the Chaos Hammer for Dubuque Recruiting Station (5K9G) achieving the highest percentage of mission accomplishment during PL September. In addition, SSG Sanchez was also awarded the Chaos Heavyweight Belt for not only being the Top Producing Recruiter during PL September but also being Chaos Company’s Top Producing Recruiter for FY22. Great Job by all! Now let’s get ready to crush FY23’s Recruiting Mission!

This week our new 3rd BDE Commander, COL Allen, and 3rd BDE CSM, CSM Crofoot along with our Minneapolis Recruiting BN Commander, LTC Yoho, and BN CSM, CSM Johnston visited the 5K9 AO. They visited both the Davenport Recruiting Station (5K9K) and Cedar Rapids Recruiting Station (5K9R) where they met the team, introduced themselves and talked about how we as Chaos and Northstar Champions can move forward in Recruiting operations. In addition they handed out BDE coins and awards, handing out a BDE coin to SSG Baumann (5K9K) and SFC Garcia (5K9R) for their outstanding work in both the Company and their recruiting efforts.! Last but certainly not least SSG Addis (5K9R) was awarded his Gold Badge! Great job to all and as always Let Chaos Reign!

This weekend the Iowa City Recruiting Company attended the Dubuque Airshow celebration for 4th of July Festivities. We had our very own SSG Workman (5K9G Station Commander) and SSG Sanchez (RNCO for 5K9G) work the event with current and future templated Soldiers. We had Future Soldiers from the Army, Marines, and Airforce swear in at the event with a Military fly over and a Golden Knights jump in. Second post to follow with videos.

Today Chaos Company executed its Organizational day! This was to show our appreciation for our Recruiting Non-Commissioned Officers and their Military Families and all the hard work that they do day in and day out. These individuals are some of the hardest working Soldiers and Military Families out there. We had abundant food, music, bouncy houses, tug of war rope, play ground, and a beach to swim in. Special shout out to Mrs. DiAndra Heim for securing our location. Without her help, we could not have conducted our day.
