History

The Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce, Inc. formed a new corporation, Iowa Falls Chamber /Main Street, Inc. on October 1, 1993. The organizations were combined to stimulate economic development in Iowa Falls through organization of leadership in the business community, to promote a positive image for Iowa Falls as an exciting place to live, shop and invest, to provide design assistance to improve the appearance of Iowa Falls and to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Iowa Falls area so that citizens in all areas of this business community shall prosper. The Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce/Main Street, Inc. is governed by a nine to twelve-member Board of Directors. Through special events, business building activities, and tourism, Chamber/Main Street contributes to the growth and promotion of Iowa Falls. Our goals and objectives are accomplished through the efforts of numerous volunteers. Chamber/Main Street maintains an active volunteer base. With the coordinated activities of six committees, the Chamber/Main Street provides a full calendar of business, entertainment and tourism activities. We Love Volunteers! Get involved in special events we can provide you an opportunity to share your time and talents. Why Should I Join? The Iowa Falls Chamber/Main Street strives to connect local business owners with tools to help them succeed and grow. The Scenic City Big Band will kick off our first Lawn Chair Night on Wednesday, June 3!

The public is invited to join Iowa Falls Chamber Main Street for our first Wednesday evening lawn chair night this Wednesday, June 3, at the newly-renovated Bill Riley Bandshell in Estes Park at 6:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music.

A special THANK YOU to Church Women United (Iowa Falls CWU Thrift Store) for being our Premier Sponsor of our Lawn Chair Nights.

Rain location will be the Hamilton Auditorium on the campus of Ellsworth Community College, 1100 College Avenue in Iowa Falls.

The weekend is again upon us! If you are anything like us at Iowa Falls Chamber Main Street, you are making plans on where to dine out this weekend. As you decide, make sure you "Experience Iowa Falls!"

Each of our thirteen participating area eateries have new Experience Iowa Falls cards for customers to use when they go out to eat here in Iowa Falls, or you can pick up a new card here at the Chamber Office. The new cards are due Thursday, July 16. You can turn them in at one of our participating eateries, one of our three banks here in Iowa Falls (GNB Bank, Iowa Falls State Bank, or Green Belt Banks & Trust), or here at the Chamber office.

Here again is how Experience Iowa Falls works...

While you are dining out in Iowa Falls, make sure to pick up one of our EXPERIENCE IOWA FALLS cards and get it stamped for a chance to win Chamber Bucks. Each of our participating eateries have cards available at their register for you!

* Only one stamp per customer per visit.
* A completed card must have stamps from six different local eateries.
* Customers can complete multiple cards to be entered into a drawing.
* Customers are to return completed cards (with name and phone number) to one of our participating eateries, one of our local banks, or the Chamber Office.
* Cards are due by Thursday, July 16.

RIVERBEND RALLY SCHEDULE... Here it is! Your 2026 Riverbend Rally schedule! Events and happenings will be taking place here in the Scenic City on the weekend of our nation's 250th birthday from Thursday, July 2, through Sunday, July 5! City-wide garage sales will take place the weekend before, on Saturday, June 27. Riverbend Rally brochures are available throughout Iowa Falls, including here at the Chamber Office.

RIVERBEND RALLY PARADE... We are inviting everyone -- clubs, businesses, churches, individuals and others -- to have an entry in our annual parade on Saturday, July 4th, beginning at 5:00 PM. Thanks to a generous sponsorship, the Riverbend Rally parade will not require a $10 entry fee this year. You also do not need to register for the parade. Decorate your golf carts and floats in your best red, white, and blue. Play your favorite patriotic music from your float. Chamber Bucks awarded to the best patriotic float. Join us as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together with a bigger and spirited parade that is open to all!
