Our Lacassine station is now outfitted with state-of-the-art rescue tools, primarily designed for efficient vehicle extraction. These advanced tools allow firefighters to initiate rescue operations promptly, leveraging their faster setup times versus gas-powered alternatives. Prospective members can join our training sessions held Monday nights, and we invite interested parties to join our ranks.

New battery powered tools !!! These will be replacing the 20 year plus old gas saws. They will be going on our service/rescue units. As we move forward we are always looking for ways to be better and more efficient for the community we are dedicated to serving!!!

JD3 would like to recognize Olivia Torrans for completing 12 weeks of EMT school and passing the National Registry Exam.

She is a dedicated volunteer with our fire department and proudly serves the members of our community. She is a natural at patient care and great scene partner. Her and her husband Carl, live in Woodlawn and we are lucky to have them both!

JD3 strives to keep our community safe with better technique training and skill evaluation.

Jeff Davis District 3 would like to thank Amber Wells for her dedication. She recently completed her EMT certification to better serve our community. All of our members are EMR certified and we currently have 5 EMTs and planning to add more in the near future.

We are always looking for good volunteers. We train on Monday nights. Come out, see what we do.
