Dr. Lancaster has dropped out of the race for the 6th Congressional District seat, endorsing State Rep. Tram Nguyen. She will join Nguyen for a rally and canvass kickoff today in Salem alongside Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell, as well as representatives Lori Trahan and Ayanna Pressley.

Mariah Lancaster is dropping out of the race to represent Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District and endorsing Democrat Tram Nguyen.

On August 30th, the good people of Ipswich and surrounding communities gathered for the 80th straight time on the Middle and South greens to protest against the Trump regime and stand up for democracy. Around 130 demonstrators held signs, sang, danced, and waved heartily at the passersby.
For the fourth straight week, protesters began the standout by singing Tyrants Always Fall by the Neilds. Five musicians continued the musical theme, energizing the demonstrators with their driving beat.
With 65 days remaining until the midterms, citizens who care about democracy are doubling down their efforts to educate our fellow citizens and get out the vote to throw out the current tyrant.

True North Ale Company was the scene of a spirited and lively 6th Congressional District candidate night Tuesday evening. Hosted by the Ipswich Democratic Town Committee and moderated by former Ambassador to Cape Verde Don Heflin, candidates Bethany Andres-Black, John Beccia, Mariah Lancaster, and Jamie Belsito distinguished themselves in a nuanced and detailed policy discussion. Members of the 175-strong attendees peppered the candidates with questions about immigration and ICE, healthcare, climate change and clean energy, money in politics, infrastructure, and many more important issues.
Early voting has already started for the primaries. Please vote no later than September 1st to have your voice heard.

On Saturday, 87 people strong rallied for democracy along Middle Green in Ipswich, the 79th consecutive rally. As happens every week, hundreds and hundreds of passing drivers honked enthusiastically in support. And we know we have much more to do as well, working on elections from local to national. Join us!

A vigil has been organized and will be held in the Bartlet Mall at 7:30 PM TONIGHT in response to the ICE raid in Newburyport this week.
As you probably heard, on Monday masked ICE agents came into Fantasy Nail & Spa on Low Street with guns drawn and detained one employee.
