Today we want to talk about the VA Caregiver Support Program.

It's one of the most valuable benefits VA offers, and also one of the most misunderstood. There are actually two programs under that name, with different eligibility rules and different levels of support, from training and respite care all the way up to a monthly stipend and health coverage for a family caregiver.

In this video, we walk through how both programs work, who qualifies, what VA considers caregiving.

If there's someone in your family helping you get through the day, this is a good place to start.

We had a great day out on the water today for our Veterans Fishing Trip.

A big thank you to Yankee Fleet for getting everyone out on the water and making it such an enjoyable trip, and to Rusty Can for providing a great meal when we got back.

Good food, good company, and a beautiful day on the water. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, and especially to the veterans who joined us.

Today is Agent Orange Awareness Day. 🎗️

It's a day that doesn't get talked about enough. During the Vietnam War, millions of gallons of Agent Orange were sprayed — and the poison didn't stop when the war ended. It's still here, passed down through generations.

Behind every statistic is a real person. A dad or mom who came home different. A child born with challenges no one could explain. A veteran still fighting a battle the rest of us never see.

So today, let's just take a minute. To remember. To say thank you. To make sure these stories don't get forgotten.

Today is Agent Orange Awareness Day. We have worked to raise awareness, educate, and remember the sacrifices of all those affected by Agent Orange, including veterans and their families in the ongoing battle against the deadly effects of exposure.
