Test Test Test 🚨🚨🚨

Edmunds County will be testing their weather sirens April 7th at 10am. This will be for the entire county. Mina, Ipswich, Roscoe, Hosmer and Bowdle.

This is to insure our systems are working when we have inclement weather and shelter would need to be taken. Again this will just be a test.

System pushed south a bit.

This system looks to have shifted a bit south, however, any future shifts will continue to affect the snowfall forecast. There is still uncertainty about where any heavier band(s) will set up. Expect changes to the forecast as the system approaches. Locally higher amounts of 2-3+ inches may be possible within any band(s).

Update on the system looking to move in Wednesday.
02/24/2026

Update on the system looking to move in Wednesday.

A disorganized low pressure system remains on track to move through the region on Wednesday. It will spread light snow east and southeast across the area during mainly the daytime hours. Accumulations with this system still look to be minor with most areas seeing less than an inch of snow. However, a heavier band or bands of snow will be possible within a broader area of snow. This may lead to locally higher amounts but uncertainty remains on where this band or bands of snow will set up which will determine who will see more snowfall versus others. Any slight change in the track of the system will also be a determining factor on where the snow sets up.
