As rummage sale season begins across our community, we want to give a huge thank you to everyone who thinks of us when donating clothing and household items.

Because we have a limited staff available to sort through donations, we will be temporarily locking our donation area at times over the next couple of months. During this period, donations will only be accepted intermittently rather than 24/7.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. Your donations make a difference 💜, and we look forward to reopening regular drop-off access as soon as possible.

Talking about these issues helps break stigma, supports survivors, and reminds people they are not alone. It also helps our community recognize warning signs, challenge harmful behaviors, and create a culture where safety and respect are the standard.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported.

If you or someone you know needs help, our agency offers free, confidential support services. You are not alone, and help is always available. 💜

We should no longer be silenced about domestic violence or sexual assault. It may be easier to ignore than to address these issues, but we must recognize that doing so is not fair to the victims who suffer in silence. Every day, countless individuals endure unimaginable pain and trauma, and it is our responsibility as a community to bring these conversations into the light. By standing together and raising our voices, we can create an environment where survivors feel safe and supported. Let’s break down the barriers of shame and stigma that surround these topics and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions. Together, we can foster healing and empower those who need it the most. 💜

Volunteer appreciation post! 💙

This is Adam, one of our amazing volunteers who does so much behind the scenes at the Caring House. From yard work to heavy physical labor, Adam is always willing to help. In October, he played a huge role in placing and removing the memorial crosses for Domestic Violence Awareness Month — work that requires a lot of time, strength, and heart.

We are so grateful for Adam’s willingness to step in wherever help is needed. Thank you, Adam, for your hard work, dedication, and for supporting our mission in such meaningful ways. We truly couldn’t do this without volunteers like you!
